Position Summary

The housekeeper will maintain the appearance and general cleanliness of the community for the comfort and use of residents, family members, visitors, and employees. The housekeeper will clean common areas, facility spaces and residents' living spaces according to schedule to maintain a healthy and attractive environment.

Duties include, but not limited to

• Performs vacuuming of assigned areas according to established cleaning procedures.
• Performs dust mopping and mopping of assigned areas according to established cleaning procedures.
• Performs dusting of assigned areas according to established cleaning procedures.
• Performs all functions in restrooms of assigned areas according to established cleaning procedures
• Performs glass and surface cleaning of assigned areas according to established cleaning procedures
• Prepares assigned areas for occupancy readiness
• Maintain a safe environment by means of secured equipment, chemical safety, use of signs, and following established procedures
• Maintains all equipment and housekeeping areas used to perform various cleaning tasks

Essential Job Requirements

Education: High School diploma or GED preferred

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak the English language

Experience: Previous housekeeping experience preferred

Physical Demands

Occasionally: Lifting/Carrying 26 lbs Pushing/Pulling 1-50 lbs Sitting Crawling Climbing Stairs Climbing Ladders

Frequently: Lifting/Carrying 1-25 lbs, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Reaching

Continuously: Standing and Walking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.80 per hour
