Maintenance Worker I

Key Duties Include but are not limited to:

Responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep and functionality of facilities, equipment, and grounds, including snow removal. This position involves performing routine maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Worker I plays a key role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment by adhering to maintenance schedules and promptly addressing repair requests.

• Making minor repairs to equipment & completing work orders
• Maintain a high level of productivity in terms of work orders completed
• Maintaining security checks of all HVAC and Equipment rooms
• Integrity inspections of all equipment within these rooms
• Reporting of identified equipment failures or concerns
• Maintaining the established preventative maintenance programs
• Performing limited electrical functions such as: Light ballast, switches, fixtures, outlets, thermostats, light replacement
• follow facilities Lockout Tag Out program
• Performs repair and replacement tasks such as: Toilet valves, sink repair and minor drain cleaning, Swimming Pool operation
• Maintaining the cleanliness of buildings, shup and work areas
• Medical waste collection and authorized storage
• Hazardous waste collection and authorized storage
• Cleaning floors, walls, louvres, light fixtures and painting
• Snow and ice removal, use and maintenance of equipment
• Regular, reliable & dependable work attendance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
