Goodman Air Conditioning & Heating is Hiring a Receiving Warehouse Associate Near Kentwood, MI
- Understand the layout of the warehouse/organization system/Inventory Scanner.
- Use care in the handling of all materials, products, and/or equipment.
- Picks and pulls orders from inventory
- Prevent shipping, receiving, and inventory errors through verifying one’s own work.
- Unload trucks to receive product and inspect and verify all incoming material for correct address, branch, damage, and freight bill count.
- Put away and stock product in its correct location.
- Report all vendor shipping errors following the SOP.
- Responsible for timely and accurate completion of paperwork and transaction entries
- Assist in the upkeep and general housekeeping of the warehouse.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material a
- Maintain Inventory and Prepare Cycle Counts
- Proper PPE and uniform must be worn at all times during each shift
- Follow standard operating procedures, established work processes and Company policies
- Perform additional tasks as required
- 1 plus years of warehouse / logistics experience
- Ability to exert up to 50lbs of force when moving heavy product
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Typical workdays are Monday-Friday
