Content Creator - Soccer

GoodRec is on the hunt for a sports-passionate individual to create soccer content for our Instagram and TikTok accounts. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the future of sports, one community at a time.

About Us:

GoodRec started 3 years ago with a small community in Brooklyn, New York. Since, we have grown into the largest pickup sports app in the United States. With the GoodRec app, finding a one-off pickup game, league, or tournament near you is fast and easy. All you have to do is tap the app, join a game, and show up ready to play!

What you'll do:

As Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in growing our brand on Instagram and TikTok. You will develop new creative, highly engaging video content by filming interviews with players at soccer games every week. 

Your responsibilities include:

• Go to pickup soccer games in person 4-5 times a week.
• Conduct short (vertical format), on-camera interviews with players before and after the games. 
• Film enough content for 5 videos per week in alignment with brand strategy and relevant social media trends. 
• Meet with founders weekly to review content, discuss ideas, trends, and TikTok/Reels strategy.
• Upload live content to our Instagram stories from games and engage with our community in person.

Experience:

• 2 years experience in social media/content creation, focusing on short-form video content.
• Experience and knowledge of TikTok/Reels, including filming, editing, TikTok features, and relevant trends. 
• Experience creating and executing content for a sports brand with a soccer target audience is a plus.
• Experience conducting interviews on screen (preferred).

Requirements:

• On-site position. Able to travel to various fields across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
• Deep understanding of the soccer industry (Premier League, Champions League, MLS etc).
• Ability to think outside of the box and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Camera equipment (newer iPhone ideal)
• Camera stand, and a mic (ideal or we can provide). 
• Skilled with Adobe Premiere.

• You have an extroverted personality with the ability to connect with people of all backgrounds and are passionate about storytelling and community building.
• You are comfortable on camera and have a clear and concise voice for interviews, with the ability to project and be heard in an outdoor environment.

Compensation:

• $40-50/hour depending on experience
