Goodwill Central Oklahoma is Hiring a Recruitment and Employment Programs Manager Near Oklahoma, OK

JOB SUMMARY: This position serves to provide leadership to the Recruitment team and serves the Goodwill employment program initiatives through recruitment, coordination, and community partnerships. This position includes administrative oversight and process management for the recruitment, employment, and training teams and is responsible for the day-to-day operations within recruitment, training, and services units.
Starting Salary: $43,680.00
Essential Job Functions
  • Supports the recruitment, employment and training teams toward outcome goals.
  • Collects data for strategic outcomes and reporting.
  • Supports relationships with community agencies to grow, build and establish strong partnerships.
  • Coordinates events for the Mobile Training Unit.
  • Assists with SNAP E&T billing, invoicing, and works as the point of contact for this relationship as they pertain to recruitment efforts and service delivery.
  • Maintains quality records, reports and supports Workforce Development (WFD) clients and coworkers through quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate communication with internal and external customers and clients.
  • Coordinates and enrolls weekly enrollment sessions with future clients.
  • Assists with the work of the Legal Aid attorney who supports clients and employees.
  • Coordinates events and activities associated with the REPP and YEPP (Re-entry employment Preparation and Youth employment preparation) programs including pre-release efforts, incarcerated supports, enrollments, correspondence and post release success.
  • Works with the WFD staff to secure courses that are viable and fillable to meet performance objectives.
  • Enters data into client's management system in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Serves alongside the Training department to bridge employment outcomes for program completers.
  • Works with full time and adjunct staff on travel arrangements, timesheet completion, roster creation and other administrative supports.
  • Assists in the collection of documents for accreditation compliance.
  • Completes documents that are free of errors, need minimal revision and are processed in a timely fashion.
  • Attends citywide networking events as needed to promote services and develop relationships with other companies, organizations and agencies for the purpose of positive employment and recruitment outcomes.
  • Updates unit SOPs and Workforce Development policies.
  • Completes and runs reports for the unit as requested.
  • Tracks budget activity and handles purchasing (books and supplies) for units as needed.
  • Participates in staff, inter-agency or other project coordinating meetings.
  • Reviews and is familiar with OK Goodwill safety policies, programs and procedures. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes, and attends safety training sessions and necessary safety meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred, or comparable work experience and skill attainment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Apps and Outlook as well as able to navigate the internet with ease.
  • Must maintain valid Oklahoma driver’s license, current auto insurance and tag.
  • Must maintain a good driving record and pass MVR check.
  • Must pass OSBI/DOC background check as well as drug screening.

Working Conditions
