Role And Responsibilities
- Assist Onboarding Specialists as needed with new hire onboarding responsibilities.
- Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee information.
- Prepare and submit biweekly payroll reports.
- Assist Benefits Manager with administrative tasks and annual open enrollment.
- Track and provide initial response to TWC claims.
- Assist the Human Resources Business Partners with the scheduling of TWC hearings.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and analytics as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in organizing and storage of policies and procedures.
- Timely completion of employment verifications.
- Full responsibility for digital filing of documents and record retention.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- 2 years of experience in HR coordination or administration roles.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in English and basic math skills. Bilingual preferred.
- Reliable transportation with valid driver license and proof of insurance with ability to travel to various worksites as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
- The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
