Maintenance Technician

PAY RATE - Negotiable

JOB SUMMARY :

The Maintenance Technician performs work involving multiple skill sets in a multi-unit environment. Perform punch list on apartments and prepare them for turnover.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform light carpentry to support and maintain facilities, including basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
• Dry wall and painting.
• Replace electrical cover plates.
• Pull toilet and replace wax ring.
• Replace filters.
• Maintains compliance with safety practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have 2 years of hands-on experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and / or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. May be required to regularly stand for extended periods of time, walk, reach with hands / arms with full range of motion, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, push or pull.

Regularly required to talk and hear. Frequently required to use hands and fingers to hold, handle and feel objects, knobs, keys and / or buttons.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

Employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and / or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.

The noise level is usually moderate.

We are looking for a Property Maintenance Technician. If an offer is made applicant is required to pass a background and drug test along with possessing a valid Drivers License.

You must have your own vehicle to use to drive back and forth to properties (truck is a plus). Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Having a valid license and vehicle is an absolute must.
