Your day to day as a Project Engineer As a Full Time Project Engineer at Kinsley Steel, Inc., you will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure a seamless process of fabricating and erecting structural steel, miscellaneous metals, joist, and metal deck for assigned projects. You will utilize your keen eye for detail as you read specifications and blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required. With your exceptional organizational skills, you will create and establish schedules that encompass all stages of the project, from preconstruction planning to closeout procedures.
Your ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with other project contractors will be instrumental in maintaining the schedule, delivering materials, and resolving any design conflicts. Additionally, you will utilize your expertise in the BIM process to coordinate the steel package with other trade contractors. Your attention to detail will shine as you prepare, review, and maintain critical documents in both hard copy and electronic formats.
