Job Summary:

The managers role is to provide supervision and coordination of Americorps Programs; ensure compliance with program goals, outreach targets and reporting requirements. In consultation with the leadership team and other Goodwill Americorp staff; manages the program goals and budgets.

• Expands and maintain positive partnerships with the business community and current or potential program funders.
• Develops new products and services to meet customer requests, regional resource needs and improvements in service quality.
• Directly supervises or supports supervision of assigned personnel,, which may include recruiting, hiring, orienting, training, monitoring, and evaluating.
• Directly supervises key management tasks, which may include approval of services, monitoring for quality assurance, fiscal oversight, program evaluations, and report writing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in rehabilitation, business, communication, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
• Experience coordinating AmeriCorps programs
• 2 years of experience working in workforce development or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to use personal computer, to include; e-mail, Internet, and Microsoft Office software.
• Reliable transportation with proof of current automobile insurance.
• Valid driver’s license permitting operation of a vehicle in the State of Maine with a satisfactory driving record
• Criminal background check that meets Agency standards and Americorp Standard

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years progressive management experience.
