DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist Project Manager in carrying out his/her prescribed job responsibilities and duties as follows: Train and supervise new hires, train and supervise assigned employees in all areas of food service, monitor the daily work assignment for employees, inspects all work areas prior to securing at the end of each shift; ensure all areas, equipment and utensils are kept in a clean and sanitary condition at all times, handle employee-client problems and irregularities including customers complaints, responsible for instilling proper attitudes toward safety in employees and ensuring that all equipment operations are performed in accordance with prescribed safety standards, ensure that supplies are handled as prescribed by company procedures and good security practices, and other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Monitor, assist and supervise the work of the food service personnel assigned to the serving lines. Maintain effective working relationships with the military personnel and co-workers. Ability to instruct and train employees in basic serving techniques and cleaning procedures.

PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

Standing or walking for long periods of time, ambulate independently, bend, stoop and balance, lift 25 lbs, steadiness of hand, write legibly, basic math calculations, use independent judgment, make corrections required of work tasks, ability to think and react calmly and responsively to emergency situations, ability to recommend solutions for work problems, work well with others and ability to perform tasks under stressful conditions.
