Proactively addresses issues related to theft, fraud, ethics and operational accountability. Oversees contracts and vendor relationships dealing with security, alarm system, and surveillance system; Oversees security, loss prevention and auditing needs for Goodwill and represents the company in a professional manner that reflects the values and standards of the organizations mission and goals.What youll be doing:Establish procedures to safeguard all property which may include use of security personnel and alarm systemsPerform audits at each location to guard against inventory, cash shortages, and AP issuesReview loss prevention exception reports and cash discrepancies to ensure adherence to guidelinesAdvises leadership of all deficiencies and remedial efforts to improve deficienciesConducts investigations for accidentsincidents related to loss prevention, safety and complianceProvide recommendations and solutions in crisis situations such as workplace violence, protests, and demonstrationsWorks with the executive team to create strategies or implement programs and guidelines for methods to identify a potential riskDirect investigations and prosecution related to shoplifting, fraud, theft, and trespassing.Guide team members to effectively manage asset protection activitiesEnsure that the risk awareness culture is developed throughout the organizationObserve and document activities of individuals to detect unlawful acts or to obtain evidence for cases by observation, interview witnesses, and utilizing security cameras for monitoring and reviewingMake recommendations to the Leadership team regarding ways to mitigate risk related to fraudulent activity and policy violationsPrepares reports and case summaries to document investigations; Maintain inspection reports and recordsInstitute procedures for regular inspections and maintenance of surveillance equipment and assist with placement of surveillance equipment in remodelnew locationsAct as liaison between Goodwill locations and local police departmentsReview and be familiar with Goodwill safety polices, programs and proceduresAttend safety training and meetings and report any unsafe working conditions, accidents, or injuries immediatelyAdminister systems and programs to identify and reduce loss, maintain inventory control, or increase safety; develop strategies to reduce riskMaintain databases such as bad checkcredit card logs, reports on multiple offenders, and alarm activation listsPerform all other duties as required by managementRequirements: Bachelors Degree RequiredFive or more (5 ) years of Asset Protection experience such as in loss prevention or law enforcementReidWickland-Zulanwski Certified preferredProficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook andor equivalent (Google tools) and or relatedResearch, forensic investigation, interrogatory, evidence preservation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skillsMust have a high level of attention to detailStrong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize as neededAbility to interact positively with both internal and external customers and partnersInterpersonal skills with the ability to influence and obtain resultsAbility to comply with Federal vaccine mandate per contract site with or without a reasonable accommodation.Working Environment ConditionsRequirements:Must be able to travel to Goodwill of North Georgia locations as needed or requiredAbility to push, pull and lift up to 25 lbs. with or without accommodations to transport andor carry documents andor various supplies related to audits, projects, improvements etc.Must pass MVR check and maintain good driving recordReliable transportation and communication required,EqualOpportunityEmployerDescription:Equal Opportunity EmployerProtected VeteransIndividuals with Disabilities,PayTransparencyPolicyStatement:The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
