We are looking for a Production Team Lead to assist with the operation of the bailing machines, compressing and binding textile and/or paper-related product into bales in preparation for resale. Works, motivates, and sets the pace as an active leader and team member.

HOURS: Monday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm, Friday 7am-2:30pm

PAY: $18.52 – $19.21 hourly

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB: Lifting 50 pounds maximum. Frequently unloading baler, walking, bending, and standing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

• Lead the production team under direct supervision.

• Provides guidance and instruction of plans for the day. 
• Supports and facilitates daily operations on the production floor.

• Load material into compression chamber.
• Open compression chamber door and remove bales from machine.
• Thread tie bands around bale and twist or clamp ends of band to tighten.
• Assist with loading and unloading material from trailers as needed.
• May act as material handler, moving materials from or near trucks, dock, and/or staging areas to specific locations within the facility.
• Other such duties as may be required or assigned by supervisory staff.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school graduate/GED preferred, but not required.
• Ability to be forklift certified preferred, but not required.
