Qualifications
- Formal pastry culinary arts training
- Thorough knowledge of food preparation and presentation
- Minimum three years' experience in a similar pastry role
- Experience in both front and back of house operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and general computer literacy
- Ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
- Manage daily production and presentation of pastries for multiple outlets
- Ensure high-quality, consistent pastries exceeding company standards
- Supervise kitchen production areas, maintaining a safe work environment
- Develop and mentor pastry team, conduct performance reviews
- Control labor and food costs, maintain sanitation standards
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- Coordinate with staff and guests to ensure satisfaction
- Promote a safe working environment, assume Executive Chef duties when needed
