Job Description
Gopher Glen is located in the beautiful See Canyon, accessed near Avila Beach. This super unique canyon orchard grows 112 rare and flavorful varieties of apples creating a niche market that is a staple in our local community. This is a great opportunity to spend your summer and fall enjoying all of the seasons at our farm. No experience is necessary.

4 - 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8:30am and 6:30pm. Must be available to work holidays and weekends. We have established blackout dates on major holidays, due to the large volume of customers during those times.

Job Requirements:

-Must like to eat lots of Apples
- Must be able to lift roughly 50lbs or less repeatedly
- Must be physically able and enjoy being on your feet
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have an outgoing positive attitude and be self driven
-Must have a friendly personality with a willingness and desire to help/converse customers

Job Duties:
- Checking customers out at the registers

-Learning and retaining knowledge about each seasonal high quality produce we sell
- Sampling fruit to customers
- Stocking gift and packaged food onto displays
- Providing an uplifting and positive experience for each customer that visits

- Receiving weekly produce orders and organizing into cooler storage.
-Sorting produce on displays and restocking with fresh produce
-Packaging fruits and vegetables
- Washing eggs and placing in cartons
- Watering plants
- Daily, weekly and monthly cleaning.

Compensation: $16.00 hourly starting & 5lbs of fruit per pay period
