Job Description:
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling, root planning, and polishing, to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.
- Conduct comprehensive oral assessments, including probing, charting, and oral cancer screenings.
- Take dental X-rays and assist the dentist in treatment planning.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health instructions.
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current state licensure/certification as a Dental Hygienist.
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
