Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and psychotherapy to adults with a wide range of ages, diagnoses and presenting problems. Evidence based psychotherapy practices are preferred.
- Work collaboratively with clinic psychiatrists and child psychiatry fellows.
- If desired, teach classes to medical students and supervise residents in psychotherapy training
- Attend scheduled meetings and patient staffing.
- Document patient care, including assessments, treatment plans and therapy progress notes in a timely manner and accordance with department policy.
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Must hold a valid LCSW license in the state.
- Must have experience working with older adults
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
