As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals, couples, and families in our community. You will be responsible for conducting intake assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapy to clients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
- Collaborate with clients to establish treatment goals and objectives
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities
- Monitor and document clients' progress towards treatment goals
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed
- Provide education and support to clients' families, promoting understanding and active participation in the recovery processes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and determine their treatment needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to address clients' unique challenges and goals.
- Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
- Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Demonstrate specialized training or extensive experience in mental health counseling
- Experience providing counseling or therapy services in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards of practice
- Competitive salary range: $115,000 to $130,000 per year.
