The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in counseling or related field, be licensed in the state of California, and have experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy sessions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals, couples, and families in our community. You will be responsible for conducting intake assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapy to clients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
  • Collaborate with clients to establish treatment goals and objectives
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities
  • Monitor and document clients' progress towards treatment goals
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed
  • Provide education and support to clients' families, promoting understanding and active participation in the recovery processes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and determine their treatment needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to address clients' unique challenges and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate specialized training or extensive experience in mental health counseling
  • Experience providing counseling or therapy services in a clinical setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards of practice
Salary Range:
  • Competitive salary range: $115,000 to $130,000 per year.
