We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in counseling or related field, be licensed in the state of New York, and have experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals, couples, and families in our community. You will be responsible for conducting intake assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapy to clients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
• Collaborate with clients to establish treatment goals and objectives
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities
• Monitor and document clients' progress towards treatment goals
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed
• Provide education and support to clients' families, promoting understanding and active participation in the recovery processes.
• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and determine their treatment needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to address clients' unique challenges and goals.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Some flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient needs.

Salary: $90k to $100k per year

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state.
• Two years of post-licensure experience specializing disorders preferred
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
• Proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in treating mood disorders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
