Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of client mental health needs
- Create individualized treatment plans for clients
- Offer counseling and therapy services to clients in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate and thorough client records and progress notes
- Collaborate and communicate with other healthcare and mental health providers as needed for coordinated care
- Adhere to professional and ethical guidelines and standards at all times
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in the mental health field
- Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state
- Minimum of3 years of experience in mental health counseling
- Experience with specific populations (eg., children, families, substance abuse, trauma) is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary $80,000 to $95,000 yearly with sign-on bonus.
