Responsibilities
- Conduct client assessments to determine their mental health conditions and needs
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each client's mental health concerns and needs
- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to clients
- Facilitate group or family therapy sessions as needed
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document all client interactions, progress, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive mental health care to clients
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with the latest mental health treatments and technologies
- Master's degree in mental health counseling or related field
- Valid state license to practice as a mental health counselor
- Minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong understanding of mental health treatment options and evidence-based practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other technology used in mental health care
- Competitive salary of $85,000 to $95,000 yearly with sign-on bonus
