Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (new grad PTAs are welcome!)
Active Physical Therapist Assistant license
Ability to practice physical therapy unencumbered by state and federal guidelines
Passion for aiding and working with the elderly
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility
Essential Functions:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
Performs services planned, delegated, and supervised by the PT
Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to participate in teaching the patient and family
Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner
Applies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease
Accepts clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients
Meets mandatory continuing education requirements; participates in in service programs
Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency
Proficient and comfortable using technology to communicate and perform essential job functions.
Salary:$50,000 to $65,000 per year Benefits:
