We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assume responsibility and accountability for a wide range of patient care interventions, including screenings, triage, pain management, falls prevention, nutritional and psychosocial support, discharge planning, and more to promote patients' physical health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care
- Act as a patient advocate and navigator, assisting patients and families through the healthcare system
- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate all care provided to assigned patients
- Execute medical plans of care under the direction of treating clinicians
- Utilize nursing diagnoses to address health problems and provide supportive care
- Supervise patient care provided by LPNs, MOAs, NAs, technicians, and supplemental staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Minimum of two years of outpatient/urgent care experience with adult and pediatric populations
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Proficiency in chronic disease management
- Floating REQUIRED
