Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist/Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for overseeing purchasing activities and ensuring that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with company objectives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, and overall supplier performance.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best possible deal for the company.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Forecast procurement needs and monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
• Monitor market trends and developments to identify potential opportunities or risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to determine procurement needs, specifications, and preferences.
• Resolve supplier grievances and claims against suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred as the successful candidate will be required to communicate with business partners in China.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist/Manager or in a similar procurement role.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
