Job Overview
The Risk Mitigation and Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for identifying, analyzing, developing, implementing, and managing strategies to mitigate risks and prevent losses across the organization. This position not only ensures that the organization minimizes risks but also aims to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness through intelligent process optimization. This role involves conducting assessments, creating and enforcing policies and procedures, and collaborating with various departments to ensure the safety and security of company assets, employees, and operations.
What does your day look like ? Some of your duties may include:

• Risk Identification: Conduct thorough analyses of current business processes to identify potential risks that can affect the organization's risks.
• Process Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and procedures. Use data-driven approaches to pinpoint areas where risks could be mitigated and savings could be optimized.
• Loss Prevention: Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard company assets.
• Recommendation Development: Develop actionable recommendations for process improvement, focusing on reducing costs, enhancing compliance, and minimizing risk exposure.
• Implementation Support: Work closely with process owners and management to implement risk mitigation strategies and process enhancements. Ensure that changes align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Reporting: Regularly report on risk assessments, findings, and the status of implementation projects.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various stakeholders across the organization to foster a risk-aware culture and to gather insights that inform risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices in risk management and Loss Prevention and process optimization to continually bring innovative solutions and improvements to the organization.

Things you need to be able to do:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detailed understanding of financial metrics and process modeling.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively presenting and explaining risks and improvements to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in using risk management software and business process management tools.

Things that are a plus:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in risk analysis, business process analysis, or a similar role.
