Govfirst is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our client's team in Herndon, VA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new system capabilities and enhancements for an application in the customer's cloud computing environment. This role requires expertise in UI design and development, as well as proficiency in Agile software development methodologies.
- Design and develop system enhancements and new capabilities for the latest version of the application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement solutions.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the software applications.
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development processes continuously and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with expert-level focus on UI design and development in a cloud environment.
- Proven experience with Software Development in an Agile development environment.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Development experience with Angular and AngularJS frameworks.
- Familiarity with OpenLayers, FullCalendar, and Datatables.
- Experience with NgBootstrap framework is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
