GovGig is Hiring a Construction Quality Control Manager Near Tacoma, WA

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Federal Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality assurance and control functions for our federal construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all federal regulations and project specifications to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for federal construction projects.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and federal regulations.

- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and federal agencies to address and resolve quality issues.

- Prepare and submit quality control reports and documentation.

- Train and supervise site personnel on quality control standards and practices.

- Ensure all materials and workmanship meet the required standards.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal construction regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality control, preferably on federal projects.

- In-depth knowledge of federal construction regulations and standards.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

- Effective communication and leadership abilities.

- Certification in Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors is preferred.
