The Head of Global IT at Gowan plays a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the company's technology and digital strategies in alignment with its business goals in the agriculture space. This position is tasked with strategically preparing the organization's technology infrastructure for commercial success and guiding product launches to market. Responsibilities include developing IT roadmaps, executing initiatives that drive tangible business outcomes, ensuring data integrity and compliance, and optimizing operational effectiveness.

This is a full-time onsite position located in Yuma, Arizona.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional leaders to develop comprehensive strategies that optimize product development, streamline commercialization processes, and enhance operational efficiency. Participate with R&D and commercial innovators so that the interface with digital tools can improve utility to the grower.
• Ensure that technology initiatives align with business objectives, supporting Gowan's operations, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and commercial readiness.
• Provide strategies and technology solutions to facilitate global product launches.
• Implement business processes and systems for commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, and ERP. Implement and improve systems that make Gowan’s wide data libraries a competitive advantage for IP, product design and agronomic knowledge.
• Lead and develop a global IT team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Define an operating model to enhance IT capabilities.
• Establish governance protocols for product/platform compliance, policy development, and risk management.
• Strengthen IT security measures to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop enterprise AI and data management strategies, including retention and governance standards.
• Maintain a stable and highly available computing infrastructure and validated computer systems.
• Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage the IT portfolio budget.
• Oversee strategic vendor and partner relationships.
• Direct cybersecurity efforts using a risk-based approach and ensure program agility.
• Drive commercial readiness in IT and related business processes.

• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology or related field.
• Master's degree or similar designation is highly desirable.

• Required Skills:
• 15 years of related experience
• Experience in building commercial-ready IT infrastructure, processes, and controls.
• Ability to translate business needs into a strategic IT roadmap and effectively implement it.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in vendor management and technology business management processes.
• Extensive experience with software development lifecycle in regulated environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, influencing, and negotiating skills.
