gpac is Hiring an Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk - Construction Near Bozeman, MT

Position OverviewThe Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our office. This position involves a combination of administrative duties and accounting tasks, making it ideal for a well-organized individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for providing excellent support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support:
    • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
    • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
    • Maintain and organize office files, records, and supplies.
    • Assist in preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
    • Provide general support to the management team and other departments as needed.
  • Accounting Duties:
    • Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
    • Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
    • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
    • Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports.
    • Support the accounting department in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role, preferably within the construction or architecture industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
