Gpac is currently working with a food manufacturer near Knoxville, TN who is looking to add Ammonia Refrigeration Technicians and Operators to their team.
Business is booming and the company is going through rapid growth! They have opportunities on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift!
Operators will be responsible for operating the ammonia refrigeration system including start-up, shut down, and manipulation of machine setpoints.
Technicians will be responsible for performing specific preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repair, operation, and other various tasks related to the ammonia refrigeration system to meet production, shipping, storage, and refrigeration needs.

Ideal Candidate :
- Minimum 2-3 years of maintenance experience with 1-2 years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration (2-4 years refrigeration experience for Techs)
- Have completed their RETA Operator 1 course (Technicians need to have completed RETA Operator 1 and 2 courses or posses CIRO Certification)
- Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
- Ability to read and understand Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&IDs)
- Manufacturing experience in a Food Facility
- Experience with fire-tube boilers and industrial air compressors a plus
