Assembly Team Leader Job Description :

As the Assembly Team Leader, you will provide leadership and direction to ensure our Assembly Team meets quality, efficiency, productivity, and project timeline deliverables for our custom equipment builds.

Assembly Team Leader Job Responsibilities :

• Culture :
• Fully participate in driving company culture, emphasizing personal and team accountability and performance.
• Communication :
• Communicate clearly and consistently across all levels of the organization.
• Consult with associates, team leaders, project leaders, engineers, and other manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information and develop beneficial courses of action.
• Team Development :
• Develop a high-functioning assembly team through associate hiring, development, performance measurement, and feedback.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Facilitate change to increase performance and produce cost savings.
• Lead continuous improvement projects exceeding set expectations.
• Problem-solving / Troubleshooting :
• Deploy problem-solving skills to understand primary causes of issues and ensure resolution.
• Safety :
• Adhere to necessary safety precautions and regulations during all assembly phases.
• Ensure a working knowledge of safe practices among direct reports.

Assembly Team Leader Requirements :

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to handle situations professionally and fairly.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, Word, and manufacturing software.
• Ability to delegate tasks to associates.

Assembly Team Leader - What You Will Be Doing :

• Run daily reports to ensure the team meets production deadlines.
• Collaborate with other team leaders on projects.
• Supervise all daily activities in assigned departments.
• Ensure production schedule and quality standards are met.
• Identify process problems, troubleshoot causes, and develop solutions with PL / VP MFG.
• Provide onboarding to new team associates.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
