Job Description: Seeking a talented and driven Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Trust & Estate Litigation team. The successful candidate will have a robust background in trust and estate law, strong litigation skills, and a commitment to advocating for our clients' best interests. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, offering strategic legal counsel, and representing clients in various legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on trust and estate litigation matters.
- Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations.
- Provide clients with legal advice on trust and estate disputes, including will contests, fiduciary issues, and trust modifications.
- Manage all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial and appeal.
- Work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to develop and execute case strategies.
- Stay current with developments in trust and estate law and relevant legal precedents.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the California Bar.
- 4-7 years of experience in trust and estate litigation.
- Strong knowledge of trust and estate law and litigation procedures.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
- Salary range for this position is $180,000 to $240,000. Total compensation will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
