Responsibilities

- Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive bids, considering material costs, labor expenses, equipment, and other relevant factors. Collaborate with the bidding team to submit compelling and well-structured proposals.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze project costs, identify potential cost-saving measures, and provide recommendations to enhance project profitability.
- Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes for materials and services, ensuring the selection of reliable and cost-effective partners.
- Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the Philadelphia construction market. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to gather relevant information and ensure accurate project estimations.
- Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of project estimates, bids, and relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Minimum of 4-7 = years of experience in commercial and multifamily construction estimating.
