Commercial Construction Estimator
Established Commercial General Contractor is seeking an Estimator their Commercial Construction Operations. This group has a track record for excellence resulting from a combination of wide-ranging experience, exceptional teamwork, and phenomenal growth.
Their pipeline is significantly higher than anticipated for the next couple years. Additionally, our client places a strong emphasis on positive company culture and they want to grow their team with strong construction professionals.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Manage all documentation to ensure projects are compliant, on schedule, and within budget
- Obtain, assemble, and distribute drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and lien releases
- Schedule projects in logical steps
- Accurately budget time required to meet project deadlines
- Track and analyze data to reduce gaps between estimates and actual costs
- Prepare and present documentation to clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other project personnel
- Assist with post-bid buyouts
Key qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of ground-up, commercial construction estimating experience required
- B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline preferred
- Must have estimating experience with General Contractor
- Proficient using construction estimating software
- Experience with conceptual estimating
- Effective communicator both verbal and written
