Job Title : Agricultural Direct Sales Representative

Job Summary : We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Agricultural Direct Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and sales, with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping customers achieve their farming goals.

This role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, providing expert product advice, and driving sales growth.

Agricultural Direct Sales Representative Key Responsibilities :

  • Contact existing and potential customers to discuss their agricultural needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Provide detailed information about our range of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, equipment, and technology.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers.
  • Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Follow up on sales leads and customer inquiries promptly.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on the latest agricultural products, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Attend training sessions and industry events to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Track sales performance and generate regular reports for management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Agricultural Direct Sales Representative Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in agricultural sales or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of farming practices and crop production.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
