Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 (commensurate with experience)

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to join our upscale senior living community. This full-time position focuses on overseeing nursing services within our Skilled Nursing Facility. The Director of Nursing will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, manage nursing staff, and maintain compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, provide, and ensure the quality of nursing care.
- Recruit, train, and manage nursing staff.
- Coordinate nursing services for residents, including liaising with external care providers such as home health care, hospice, and rehabilitation services.
- Facilitate departmental staff meetings, Quarterly Assurance Meetings, and annual policy reviews.
- Coordinate and provide in-service education programs to enhance staff skills, collaborating with medical professionals as needed.
- Develop and oversee resident care plans.
- Act on behalf of the CHR Administrator in their absence.
- Maintain a visible presence with residents, conduct regular tours to ensure care quality and safety.
- Ensure timely submission of MDS data.
- Serve as "on call" during some weekends.

- Valid RN license for the State of Michigan required.
- Minimum of three years' experience as a Director of Nursing, preferably in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting.
- NADONA certification is a plus.
