SummaryJob Summary: We are assisting a Sioux Falls faith-based non-profit as they look to add an Operations Coordinator to their team. This position will play a vital role in contributing to goal setting, crafting policies, and fostering a cohesive culture to achieve the organization's mission and values. They are looking for someone who has a passion for and commitment to non-profit and ministry work as well as a commitment to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse constituent groups, including staff, board members, donors, ministry partners and other supporters.
Operations Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all event planning efforts for the organization.
  • Coordinate all promotional efforts of the organization with the help of comitte members and outside consultants.
  • Assist with marketing strategies that can attract new donors and retain current ones.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of Newsletters & E-News emails as well as coordinate social media content and website maintenance.
  • Oversee database management, organizing the organizations to provide excellent services to all constituents related to the organization.
  • Ensure the proper utilization of meaningful data, technology, and systems to their fullest potential to help the organization be as efficient as possible.
  • Provide office/administrative support for general operations.
  • Coordinate donor connections and assign thank you responsibilities to board members.
  • Schedule and coordinate board meetings.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date donor database and ensure acknowledgments, recognition and proper stewardship.
