Superintendent Responsibilities
- Manage workers and contractors in the field.
- Provide training on-site.
- Identify potential issues and find resolutions early.
- Monitor and forecast budget and hours worked.
- Maintain and submit regular schedule updates.
- Schedule equipment and material deliveries.
- Industry Knowledge: Must be well-versed in standard industry practices, processes, and standards.
- Customer Focus: Unwavering commitment to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Outlook, Excel, and MS Project.
- Project Skills: Capable of executing precise and thorough project take-offs.
- Meeting Facilitation: Able to conduct weekly safety meetings and coordination sessions with onsite staff.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
- Document Interpretation: Proficient in reading, understanding, and interpreting contract documents including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is an advantage.
- Safety Compliance: Familiarity with OSHA standards and other legal regulations to ensure a safe working environment for the public and pedestrians.
- Certifications Required: Must possess Fall Protection, OSHA 30, and First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Must have clean driving record.
