Key Responsibilities
- Project Management:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all phases of residential construction and remodeling projects.
- Oversee the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project goals and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Team Supervision:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates to clients on project status, milestones, and any changes or issues that arise.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Identify and resolve any issues or defects in a timely manner.
- Conduct final inspections and walkthroughs with clients to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, budget, and any issues encountered.
- Keep detailed records of all materials used, labor costs, and other expenses.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction and remodeling, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA certification or similar safety training is a plus.
