gpac is Hiring a Route sales representative Near New York, NY

We're a family owned winery located in Sonoma Valley in Northern California. We have been in business for 38 years and sell roughly 250, 000 cases of wine a year.

We make a variety of wines but specialize in sparkling & N / A wines.

We're looking for 2 route sales people to work the NY market retail stores. We're looking for a beer or soda background in route sales.

The job will require 10-12 retail on premise stops a day.

Staten Island

Must be able to lift 36 pounds, have a car and no prior DUI. Wine knowledge is a bonus. We are looking to pay Salary $55K Car Allowance, gas and Health.

What you will be doing :

  • Develop and maintain effective account relationships and promote the goodwill of the company
  • Grow brand presence within our existing accounts.
  • Effective Accounts Receivable collections according to State Law
  • Develop new accounts grow account base and points of distribution
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other questions as they arise
  • Execute monthly and quarterly priorities as related to business activities
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will need to succeed :

  • 21 years of age or older to comply with federal and state regulations
  • Valid NYS driver's license depending on the territory you are assigned this position requires you to own or have access to a car-90% of all sales routes require a vehicle.

There are limited routes where we can overlook you not having a car.

  • Some industry experience is preferred, but not required
  • Capacity to bend and lift heavy objects regularly
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
