- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Evaluate patient’s physical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
- Develop and implement patient’s care and discharge plans.
- Guide Licensed Practical Nurse and Nurse Assistant.
- Facilitate learning opportunities for patient/family.
- Communicate patient changes/conditions to caregivers.
- Participate in departmental/organizational meetings and educational opportunities.
- Steward hospital resources and meet productivity expectations.
- Adapt to changes in the health care environment.
- Solve problems and support process improvement teams.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Delegate/supervise based on patient needs and scope of practice.
- Maintain confidentiality and abide by HIPPA regulations.
- Provide competent patient care based on age
- specific growth and development.
- Enhance job functions through personal and professional development.
- Abide by all medical center and departmental policies and procedures.
