Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Brand Marketing to lead our Long-Term Care (LTC) strategy. This individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of LTC marketing strategies to support our objectives and growth plan based on market knowledge, customer insights, and brand strategy. This role requires deep LTC experience in both sales and marketing, as well as a strong understanding of the market access landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the product, market, and treatment landscape in LTC.
  • Lead the development of the Annual LTC Brand Plan and budgeting process.
  • Partner with Field Sales, Market Access, Market Insights, Patient Services, Patient Marketing, and Medical Affairs to develop prioritized customer segmentation and align marketing messages, tactics, and resources against LTC business.
  • Monitor products, marketplace, and competitor trends to anticipate/identify threats and opportunities, and develop tactics to respond.
  • Serve as marketing representative on promotional review committee for all LTC materials, ensuring timely and efficient review while complying with all guidelines.
  • Lead strategy for national LTC society interactions and congress meetings; support sales force and regional marketing managers in the execution of local/regional LTC society and educational events.
  • Collaborate with Sales Training to ensure LTC brand strategy and materials are implemented.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership attributes to generate commitment and constructively resolve issues.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, consensus-driven environment, and pursue business goals cross-functionally.
  • Collaborate with multiple agencies, including creative, media, digital, and peer-to-peer; accountable for project timelines and budgets; participate in monthly budget forecasting meetings.
  • Lead the development and creation of LTC marketing content that communicates complex, scientifically nuanced concepts through the promotional review process.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with key cross-functional partners.
  • Support the planning and execution of all Points of Agreement (POA) and regional sales meetings.
  • Manage additional projects across the brand as needed.
  • Prioritize and manage complex and innovative projects within a fast-paced and competitive commercial environment.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in a scientific or business discipline with 12 years of relevant experience, including 7 years in marketing and/or sales in a pharmaceutical market.
  • Experience managing outside agencies (creative & media), design firms, and internal teams to execute brand and strategic marketing direction.
  • In-line brand marketing experience, including commercial launch experience.
  • Master’s or MBA degree preferred and 10 years of related experience, or PhD and 7 years of related experience.
  • Expertise in marketing strategy, market research, segmentation, brand positioning, and tactical plan development.
  • Digital marketing proficiency and experience in collaboration across HCP, patient, and medical marketing.
  • Experience executing advisory boards and competitive intelligence.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate data into insights and indicated actions.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring skills, and ability to influence others to ensure successful outcomes.
  • High ethical standards and personal integrity.
  • Ability to navigate the organization with minimal direction and support in completing tasks.
  • Flexibility to accommodate a constantly changing environment.
