Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting – Hybrid

Location: Stamford, CT (Hybrid – Tuesday & Wednesday each week)

Salary: $125,000 - $165,000 cost of living adjustment 15% bonus & equity

Join a dynamic biopharmaceutical company focused on developing life-changing medicines. Our client is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting to lead their accounting team and ensure the accuracy of their financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Manage and mentor a team of three accountants.
• Collaborate on strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
• Assist in system migrations and provide technical accounting guidance.
• Coordinate with external auditors for reviews and audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of accounting experience
• 1 Direct Line Management Expirence
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting system migrations.
