Grace Christian Prep School is Hiring an Elementary School Teacher Near Gainesville, FL

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team and inspire young minds. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of students and fostering a positive learning environment.

Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Provide instruction in various subjects such as Math, English, Science, and Social Studies
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive learning environment
- Administer and grade assignments, tests, and standardized assessments
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student development
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support academic growth

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Teaching certification/license in the relevant state
- Experience working with elementary school students
- Proficiency in classroom management and behavior strategies
- Knowledge of Montessori or other progressive teaching methodologies is advantageous
- Strong written communication skills for creating lesson plans, reports, and correspondence
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles
- Familiarity with education administration practices
- Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love for learning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $45,760.00 per year
