Shift: Evenings 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Pay: CNAs start at $21.00/hour Shift Differential Upgraded Weekend Differential

You will work closely with our nursing team to ensure the safety and comfort of our residents. You will provide direct care to residents by performing basic nursing skills as directed. This position requires current PA CNA certification.Wellbeing

Make an Impact. Advance your Career. Give back to the Community.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Report at start of shift with pocket care plans/worksheet to receive shift report.
Prioritize care with co-workers in assigned neighborhood based on resident needs.
Regular attendance is an essential function.
Assist resident with the activities of daily living including but not limited to bathing, dressing, mouth care, toileting and transfers. Responsible for appropriate documentation of activities.
Inform nurse of any findings or observations while caring for resident i.e. skin tears, bruises, accidents, incidents, change in status.
Ensure competency by completing state mandated 12 hours of in-services yearly. Ensure competency in state mandated additional 6 hours of dementia training.
Awareness of safety hazards by maintaining a clean, neat and clutter free environment.
Maintain friendly, professional attitude with residents, visitors and staff.
Attend Resident Care Conference for neighborhood, meetings and in-services as required.
Assist with vital signs.

EducationComplete a PA approved Nurse Aide training.
High School diploma or GED.
ExperienceOne year working as a Nurse Aide in a geriatric setting.
Professional Membership, Licensures, CertificationsRegistered as a Nurse Aide with the PA Dept of Health.

As a Life Plan Community, Rockhill offers a continuum of care that includes Residential Living, Personal Care for adults who need assistance with daily activities, and Health Care for individuals in need of 24-hour support. Shepherd’s Way memory support neighborhood and a recently constructed Healthcare Pavilion give individuals access to the health care and support they need at all hours. The dedicated staff ensures that residents enjoy the best quality of life while maintaining the highest possible level of independence. Telford consists of 245 independent living units, 125 personal care beds in 97 units, and 75 skilled nursing beds.
