As part of our Outreach Department, you would be responsible for working with our community contacts at public schools and other community organizations in Hall, Gwinnett, and Forsyth counties to host outreach events (e.g., college student panels, scholarship workshops, college information presentations, and tabling events), grow our presence, and make new connections.

We look for applicants who are:

• 18 years or older
• currently enrolled in college or has college experience 
• responsible, reliable individuals 
• passion for giving back and helping others
• intermediate or fluency comprehension of Spanish is much preferred

GRACIAS is a fully volunteered-based nonprofit, meaning everyone involved in GRACIAS leadership, including our board of directors, are unpaid volunteers; however, becoming involved in GRACIAS benefits you by allowing you to: 

• make a bigger impact in the community and have a say in the direction of a rapidly growing organization
• develop your professional and social skills 
• expand your professional network 
• gain volunteer and leadership experience that could aid you when applying to future jobs and positions in life

While the time commitment may vary, we strive to ensure that all positions are manageable for our volunteers. On average, each position requires a commitment of approximately 1-4 hours per week, allowing you to balance your other responsibilities while making a difference in the community.
