Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction site plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects.

Duties:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall estimated cost
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements
- Utilize construction estimating software
- Review subcontractor bids
- Develop detailed project proposals and bid packages
- Monitor project progress and costs to ensure adherence to budget

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Proficiency in construction estimating software
- Strong understanding of project management principles

-Able to read site plans and grade stakes
- Knowledge of construction site operations and processes
- Excellent negotiation skills for dealing with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ability to interpret contracts, pricing, and building plans effectively

Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with cost control methods in construction projects
- Experience working with various contract types (e.g., lump sum, cost-plus)
- Understanding of the price build-up process in construction estimating

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
