JOB SUMMARY: The Accountant II - Grants position manages grant accounting and reporting, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance within the Office of Grants Administration.

Day to Day Duties:

• Coordinate the completion of all activities related to Grant Accounting and Reporting within the Office of Grants Administration.
• Ensure adequate internal controls are maintained in all grant accounting processes.
• Ensure accuracy of the financial reporting system for grants at Grady Health System.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address any issues related to grant financial reporting and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA in Accounting or related field.
• 5-8 years of related job experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of Excel, Access, and Word.
• PeopleSoft experience preferred.
