Clinical Informatics Specialist

Department: Information Services Type: Full-Time Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 80 hrs; 1st Shift; 7:00am-3:30pm; M-F varied

The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for coordinating all clinical integration efforts with core clinic information systems and other third-party applications. Assists nurses and physicians in determining application needs and requirements, and recommends possible solutions and viable alternatives. Coordinates testing and implementation of clinical applications to ensure a well-integrated clinical medical record.
    RN, LPN, or Bachelor's degree in health informatics required
    1-2 years clinical experience preferred. In lieu of clinical experience, previous experience with clinical information system(s) will be considered.
    Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards
    Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
