Overview

The ideal candidate has experience in the following: 

Responsibilities

  • Consults with Leaders, providing HR guidance and counsel.
  • Develops cohesive talent plans to ensure capabilities
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders
  • Leads implementation of initiatives and ensures appropriate change management is in place.
  • Assist the plant leadership in driving our safety culture
  • Develop plans to attract and retain talent
  • Positively impact key HR metrics (Employee NPS, Turnover, Hiring Rates)
  • Effectively implement HR processes
  • Coordinates Field HR Training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Finance or a related field. Masters Preferred, Professional HR Certification a plus
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of HR Generalist experience. Experience in a Manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient and hands-on experience using HRIS software.
  • Strong business and operational acumen, can effectively partner with senior business leaders.
  • Strong track record of effective talent management and the utilization of resources to improve organizational capability.
  • Current knowledge and understanding of labor laws, which impact the organization.
  • Knowledge and experience of compensation practices and disciplines, including utilizing salary survey information to conduct and provide detailed analysis of internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills required. Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and consultative skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and team environment. Strong Change Management and Organization Development Skills
  • Detailed knowledge and experience administrating various benefit plans, medical, dental, life, savings and retirement plans. 
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, detect trends, draw conclusions and formulate recommendations.
  • Handle and maintain confidential information with integrity.
  • Be accurate, meet key deadlines and have attention to detail.
  • Travel up to 50%

Compensation Statement

The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.

Benefits Statement

Benefits include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in the company’s 401K Employee Saving Plan and may participate in its Employee Wellness Program. Employees will also receive paid time off in accordance with company policy and state law requirements.
