Graham Personnel Services is Hiring an Administrative assistant Near Bakersfield, CA

Job Title : Administrative Assistant Overview : As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our organization.

This dynamic position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills. You will work closely with various departments, providing administrative support to enhance overall efficiency. Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage office supplies and place orders as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications.
  • Draft and proofread emails, letters, reports, and other documents.
  • Accurately enter and update data in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Keep records of expenses, invoices, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist various departments with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Support the planning and execution of company events and meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue bookings and catering.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional certifications or coursework in office administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Work proactively to address challenges and improve processes.
  • Comfortable using office equipment and basic IT troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools is a plus.

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
